At Partyneed, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our obligations in relation to refunds, returns, and exchanges.

1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)


Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • A refund or replacement for a major failure of a product or service.
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
  • A repair or replacement if goods are not of acceptable quality and the failure is not major.

2. Change of Mind Returns


We do not offer refunds for change of mind unless required by law. However, we may allow returns at our discretion if the following conditions are met:

  • You notify us within 7 days of receiving the product.
  • The item is unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
  • You provide a valid proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or order confirmation).
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

3. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items


If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under ACL. In this case:

  • Notify us within 3 business days of receiving the item.
  • Provide clear photos of the issue and your order details.
  • We may arrange return shipping at our expense or request you to return the item for inspection.

Upon assessment, if the product is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect, we will:

  • Repair the item (where possible),
  • Replace it, or
  • Issue a full refund including shipping costs.

4. Refund Method
Refunds will be processed via the original payment method used during purchase. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

5. Event Services and Custom Orders

  • Event planning services, custom items, or made-to-order products may be non-refundable, except where required under ACL.
  • Cancellation of services may incur fees depending on the notice period provided and costs already incurred.
